Last week I started telling you about how I got tired of sending promotional emails — and how I want to share with you what's really happening behind the scenes, and what it's actually like to build a design studio. If you'd like to read last week's newsletter, you can find it here: HERE
So — after my graduation project, which was a real success, I had no idea how to start selling my products. (I didn't even have a studio — I was making everything on the floor of my tiny apartment in Tel Aviv.)

At first I made small quantities and sold at little street markets. I still remember the first time someone bought a knot pouf from me — a very early, very rough version of it. It was at a small designers' market in the port of Jaffa, where everyone had a tiny table. A woman came over, completely lit up when she saw the pouf, and bought it. I was so excited I could barely get the words out — but I managed to make the sale happen. It was such a meaningful day, one I still remember clearly. That was 2013.

That same year, I participated in the Tzeva Tari (Fresh Paint) exhibition, which opened a lot of doors for me in the industry. After that, I was able to rent a small studio above a metal workshop (the noise was something else), and eventually move to a bigger studio and bring on one person to help me a few days a week with production and packing orders.

I remember so clearly how, in that studio, my dream started to take shape: I want to be international. I want my products to sell all over the world. I want my designs to bring people joy — to make them happy inside their homes. I was so young and inexperienced, but I could genuinely see it happening in my imagination. And I truly believe in visualizing what you want, and then just taking steps — one step at a time — moving steadily toward the goal. I'm also someone with a lot of patience and a lot of intention.
I'll wrap up here for now, with a few funny photos from that era (which I had to dig out of my old Facebook profile because I couldn't find them anywhere else) — and one photo of me in my little studio, full of big dreams and a passion for doing what I love.
If you have any questions for me, don't be shy — just hit reply. I'd love to hear from you! 💛
