What's Happening in Israel Right Now And a little peek at what's next.

I try not to bring politics into my brand. But sometimes you just have to speak the truth, even when it's painful.

I live in Jaffa — a mixed Jewish-Arab city on the southern edge of Tel Aviv. An ancient city with thousands of years of history. And right now, life here is hard.

The past month has been a month of uncertainty. Children without school or routine. Missile sirens. Always knowing where the nearest shelter is. All of this started during a period when I finally had new product ideas and the joy of creating was coming back to me.

I'm not going to get into politics — because right now it's impossible to know what's actually true and what's just the agenda of politicians who have nothing to do with the people living this every day.

My hope — and the hope of everyone around me — is simply for quiet. For peace. I know that word can feel worn out, almost naive. But I think it's still worth saying out loud: I hope for peace in Israel, and for all the people in every country surrounding us. And I hope that one day our leaders will be replaced by others who speak a different language — ones who choose dialogue over destruction. (And between us, I have a feeling that more women in those rooms wouldn't hurt.)

Despite everything, the creative energy is very much alive. A new rug collection and a new bar stool are on their way — I can't wait to show you.
